Tricky Shots

Shooting right under the sun on a cloudless day is no fun. And while 24th is my favorite street in the Mission (sorry Capp,) it’s also always been a really difficult street to shoot on, I think because of all the trees on the street which create an uneven light. Add that a parade that’s coming with the sun at its back, and you’ve got a difficult shooting day.

Anyways, another Carnaval photo that didn’t make it.

Heh… It always happens. A few days before Carnaval you get teased with nice overcast days and you’re tricked into thinking, yeah, the light will be great for Sunday. Then the big day arrives and you’re greeted with the harshest light known to man. But I’ll still be there next year…

Nice bumping into you during the event, Armand.
