Taken during a ridealong with North Bay parole agents Ricardo Bautista and Donovan Lewis in Solano County. Bautista and Lewis are in a unit that monitors sex offenders, which in California are required to wear GPS ankle bracelets. This is certainly not a perfect solution, as my colleague Jude Joffe-Block reported on the Bay Citizen.

While I was using my 5D to shoot video for most of the day, I also took the time to shoot a couple of stills. While there was one photo that ran with Jude’s article on the Citizen, this shot of the two agents was my favorite from the day.
